CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 9, 2005, the House Committee on Licensing &
Administrative Procedures authorized the correction of the
minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Licensing &
Administrative Procedures held on May 3, 2005. The following are
the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2005,
the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met
in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Flores, at 7:14 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Flores; Geren; Chisum; Hamilton;
Jones, Delwin; Morrison; Quintanilla (7).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Homer (2).
A quorum was present.
HB 1085
The chair recalled HB 1085 from subcommittee.
The chair laid out HB 1085 and explained.
The bill was left pending without objection.
HB 2016
The chair laid out HB 2016 as pending business and explained.
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that HB 2016, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion
prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Chisum; Hamilton; Jones,
Delwin; Morrison; Quintanilla (6).
Nays: Representative Geren (1).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Homer (2).
HB 2797
The chair laid out HB 2797 as pending business and explained
Representative Chisum offered a complete committee substitute.
The chair recognized Representative Chisum to explain the
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Chisum moved that HB 2797, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Geren; Chisum; Hamilton;
Jones, Delwin; Morrison; Quintanilla (7).
Nays: None (0).

Representative Chisum moved to reconsider the vote by which HB
1649 failed to pass from committee. The motion to reconsider
prevailed without objection.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Chisum moved that HB 1649, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
