Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 28,
2005, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative
Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by
the chair, Representative Flores, at 11:51 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Flores; Chisum; Goolsby; Hamilton;
Homer; Morrison; Quintanilla (7).
Absent: Representatives Geren; Jones, Delwin (2).
A quorum was present.
HB 273 & HB 275
The chair laid out HB 273 & HB 275 as pending business.
The chair explained HB 273 & HB 275.
Representative Goolsby offered a complete committee substitute
to HB 273.
The chair explained the substitute.
The committee substitute to HB 273 was adopted without
objection.
(Representative Geren now present.)
Representative Goolsby moved that HB 273, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Geren; Chisum; Goolsby;
Hamilton; Homer; Morrison; Quintanilla (8).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Jones, Delwin (1).
Representative Goolsby offered a complete committee substitute
to HB 275.
The chair explained the substitute.
The committee substitute to HB 275 was adopted without
objection.
Representative Goolsby moved that HB 275, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

Hamilton; Homer; Morrison; Quintanilla (8).
Nays: None (0).

The chair laid out SB 810 as pending business.
Representative Homer offered a complete committee substitute.
The chair explained the substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Homer moved that SB 810, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

At 11:53 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
