Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2005, the House
Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Flores, at 8:14 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Flores; Chisum; Hamilton; Homer;
Jones, Delwin; Morrison; Quintanilla (7).
Absent: Representatives Geren; Goolsby (2).
A quorum was present.
By filling out and signing the witness affirmation form, the
witnesses agree to testify under oath.

HB 1357
The chair laid out HB 1357.
The chair recognized Representative Flores to explain the
measure.

The chair recognized Representative Flores to close on the
measure.
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that HB 1357, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the
Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed
by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Chisum; Hamilton; Homer;
Jones, Delwin; Morrison; Quintanilla (7).
