Pursuant to a notice posted on March 11, 2005, the House
Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Flores, at 1:48 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

(9).
Absent: None (0).
A quorum was present.
By filling out and signing the witness affirmation forms, the
witnesses agree to testify under oath.
HB 140, HB 141, HB 142, HB 271, HB 272, HB 273, HB 274,
HB 275 & HB 276
The chair laid out HB 140, HB 141, HB 142, HB 271, HB 272, HB
273, HB 274, HB 275 & HB 276.
The chair recognized Representative Farrar to explain the
measures.
Representative Geren offered a complete committee substitute to
HB 140, HB 141, HB 142, HB 271, HB 272, HB 273, HB, 274, HB 275
& HB 276.
The chair recognized Representative Farrar to explain the
substitutes.

HB 276 were left pending without objection.

The chair laid out HB 207.
The chair recognized Representative Goodman to explain the
measure.
The chair recognized Representative Goodman to close on the
measure.
Representative Goolsby moved that HB 207, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the

Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
