Pursuant to a notice posted on March 4, 2005, the House
Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair,
Representative Geren at 8:15 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Geren; Chisum; Goolsby; Hamilton;
Morrison; Quintanilla (6).
Absent: Representatives Flores; Homer; Jones, Delwin (3).
A quorum was present.
By filling out and signing the witness affirmation forms, the
witnesses agree to testify under oath.

Representative Chisum moved that HB 1236, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
