         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 4, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Flores, at 12:00 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Flores; Geren; Goolsby; Hamilton;  
                    Jones, Delwin; Quintanilla (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Chisum; Homer; Morrison (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair introduced members and committee staff and made  
         opening remarks. 
          
         The chair recognized committee members for comment. 
          
         (Representative Homer now present.) 
          
         (Representative Morrison now present.) 
          
         Invited testimony was taken from state agencies under the  
         committee's jurisdiction.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
          There being no further business, the chair moved that the  
         committee stand adjourn.  There being no objection, the  
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures adjourned at  
         1:00 p.m.
