         Pursuant to a announcement from the House Chamber on May 9,  
         2005, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal  
         Relations met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the  
         chair, Representative Corte, at 10:00 a.m.

         The chair laid out SB 75, the companion to HB 1058. 
          
         Representative Berman moved that SB 75, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:
