Pursuant to a notice posted on March 10, 2005, the House
Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a public hearing
and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bonnen, at
2:04 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Absent: Representatives Howard; King, Tracy (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair recognized Representative Bonnen to explain the
measure.
Representative Homer offered a complete committee substitute.

The chair recognized Representative Bonnen to close on the
measure.
The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.
The bill was left pending without objection.

The chair recognized Representative Smith, Wayne to explain the
measure.

The chair laid out HB 1429 as pending business.
Representative Kuempel offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Homer moved that HB 1429, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full
house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

Homer; Kuempel; Smith, Wayne (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Howard (1).
At 2:58 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
