         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 2, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Elections met in a work session and was called to  
         order by the chair, Representative Denny, at  2:10 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Denny; Bohac; Anchia; Jones, Jesse  
                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Anderson; Hughes; Smith, Todd (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Committee viewed voting systems certified by the Secretary  
         of State and in use in Texas. 
          
         (Representative Smith, Todd now present.) 
          
         (Representative Anderson now present.) 
          
         (Representative Hughes now present.) 
          
         At 3:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
