Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2005, the House
Committee on Economic Development met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Cook,
Byron at 12:47 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Cook, Byron; Kolkhorst; Anchia;
Seaman (4).
Absent: Representatives Ritter; Deshotel; McCall (3).
A quorum was present.
HB 900
The chair laid out HB 900 as pending business.
Representative Cook, Byron offered a complete committee
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Kolkhorst moved that HB 900, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Cook, Byron; Kolkhorst; Anchia;
Seaman (4).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Deshotel; McCall; Ritter (3).
HB 918
The chair laid out HB 918 as pending business.
Representative Anchia moved that HB 918, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the
full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be
printed and be sent to the Committee
on Calendars.
At 12:49 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
