         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 19,  
         2005, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Keel, at 2:47 p.m. 
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:    Representatives Riddle; Hodge; Moreno, Paul; Raymond  
         A quorum was present. 
         SB 309 
         The chair laid out SB 309 as pending business.  
         The chair offered an amendment to the measure.  
         The amendment was adopted without objection. 
         (Representative Riddle now present.) 
         The chair moved that SB 309, as amended, be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be  
         printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:  
         Ayes:           Representatives Keel; Riddle; Pena; Denny;  
                         Escobar; Reyna (6). 
         Nays:           None (0). 
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 2:48 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
