Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2005,
the House Committee on Corrections met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at
12:15 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Haggerty;
Hochberg; McReynolds; Noriega, Melissa (6).
Absent: Representative Allen, Ray (1).
A quorum was present.
HB 2193
The chair laid out HB 2193 as pending business.
Representative Haggerty offered a complete committee substitute.
The chair explained the measure.
(Representative Allen, Ray now present.)
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that HB 2193, as substituted,
be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Haggerty;
Allen, Ray; Hochberg; McReynolds; Noriega,
Melissa (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: None (0).
At 12:18 p.m., on the motion of Representative Hochberg and
without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call
of the chair.
