Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2005,
the House Committee on Corrections met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 5:31
p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Allen, Ray;
Hochberg; McReynolds; Noriega, Melissa (6).
Absent: Representative Haggerty (1).
A quorum was present.
HB 2711
The chair laid out HB 2711 as pending business.
The chair explained the measure.
Representative McReynolds moved that HB 2711, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion
prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Allen,
Ray; Hochberg; McReynolds; Noriega, Melissa (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Haggerty (1).
The chair directed that the March 22, 2005, minutes for the
House Committee on Corrections be corrected. The corrected
minutes were authorized without objection.
The chair directed that the April 7, 2005, minutes for the House
Committee on Corrections be corrected. The corrected minutes
were authorized without objection.
The chair directed that the April 26, 2005, minutes for the
House Committee on Corrections be corrected. The corrected
minutes were authorized without objection.
At 5:35 p.m., on the motion of Representative Hochberg and
without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call
of the chair.
