CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 2, 2005, the House Committee on Corrections authorized
the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Corrections held on March 22, 2005. The following
are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 17, 2005 and revised on
March 21, 2005, the House Committee on Corrections met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Madden, at 8:01 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Haggerty;
Noriega, Melissa (4).
Absent: Representatives Allen, Ray; Hochberg; McReynolds (3).
A quorum was present.
HB 550
The chair laid out HB 550 as pending business.
The Chair explained the measure.
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that HB 550, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion
prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Madden; Jones, Delwin; Haggerty;
Noriega, Melissa (4).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Allen, Ray; Hochberg; McReynolds
(3).
HB 1681
The chair laid out HB 1681 as pending business.
The Chair explained the measure.
Representative Noriega, Melissa offered a complete committee
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Haggerty moved that HB 1681, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full
house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
The motion prevailed by the
