         Pursuant to an announcement from the House floor on April 28,  
         2005, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Giddings, at 3:16 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         HOUSE BILL No. 2215 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2215 as pending business.  
          
         The chair recognized Representative Bailey to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         Representative Elkins moved that HB 2215, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full House with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Giddings; Elkins; Bailey;  
                         Solomons; Taylor; Vo; Zedler (7). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 3:21 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
