CORRECTED MINUTES
On April 4, 2005, the House Committee on Business & Industry
authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the
House Committee on Business & Industry held on March 22, 2005.
The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 17, 2005, the House
Committee on Business & Industry met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Giddings, at 2:10
p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Giddings; Elkins; Martinez; Solomons;
Taylor; Vo; Zedler (7).
Absent: Representatives Bailey; Bohac (2).
A quorum was present.
HB 511
The chair laid out HB 511 as pending business.
The chair recognized Representative Hochberg to explain the
measure.
The chair recognized Representative Hochberg to close on the
measure.
Representative Zedler offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Vo moved that HB 511, as substituted, be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following
record vote:
