         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 15, 2005, and revised on  
         February 16, 2005, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on  
         Criminal Justice met in a formal meeting and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Turner, at 8:05 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Turner; Edwards; Haggerty; Pena (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Hope (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Hope now present.) 
          
         At 9:52 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until adjournment of the house. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 12:11 p.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Turner. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Turner; Edwards; Haggerty (3). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Hope; Pena (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Hope now present.) 
          
         (Representative Pena now present.) 
          
         At 1:37 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
