The Committee will begin working on the interim charge relating to the
Crime Victims' Compensation Fund, specifically whether there has been
a possible diversion of funds from crime victims as a result of prior
legislation, and whether the Fund meets the objectives of its authorizing
legislation. The Committee will also consider the following bill:


HB 28            Keel / et al.
Relating to eliminating the compensation to victims of crime fund
as a source of funding for the Crime Victims' Institute.
