The House Committee on County Affairs will hold its second interim
committee hearing Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in the Capitol Extension,
E2.026.  This will be a formal hearing to discuss the following charges:

3.  Review the proliferation of sub-standard housing in counties not
covered by the Local Government Code, Chapter 232, Subchapters B and C and
ways to bring these areas up to minimum standards.

5.  Study the concept of ways to limit unfunded state mandates by reviewing
what other jurisdictions have done.
