The Education subcommittee and General Government subcommittee
will have a joint public hearing regarding proposed appropriations
for state agencies for the 2004-2005 biennium.  Public testimony will
be taken.

For informational purposes, the subcommittees anticipate hearing testimony
regarding the following agency appropriations:

*Employees Retirement System
*Teacher Retirement System
*Texas A&M University System
*The University of Texas System
