         11.18, a public hearing of the Joint Interim Committee on Higher  
         Education was held on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, in the Capitol

         The chair called the meeting to order at 9:12 a.m.  There being  
         a quorum present, the following business was transacted:   
          
         Witnesses testifying and registering on demographic and economic  
         projections are shown on the attached list. 
          
         At 9:17 a.m. Senator Shapiro assumed the chair.   
          
         At 9:24 a.m. Representative Morrison resumed the chair.     
          
         The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.   
          
         There being no further business, at 10:51 a.m. Representative Morrison moved that the Committee stand  
         recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
