         Upon Adjournment Sine Die 
         Desk Number 51 
          
         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 17,  
         2004, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         McCall, at 11:40 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:          Representative McCall; Paxton; Pitts; Luna;  
         Ritter; Woolley (6) 
          
         Absent:          Representative Hilderbran; Keffer, Jim; Wilson 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman McCall laid out his organizational plan for interim  
         studies. 
          
         1) As author of HB 2425 (78R) Chairman McCall will deal with  
         interim charge number one. 
          
         2) Vice-Chair Paxton will with the assistance of  
         Representative's Luna, Pitts & Jim Keffer will examine charge  
         number two. 
          
         3) Prior to the submission of the interim report the Committee  
         will hear teatimony from agencies and programs under the  
         committee's jurisdiction. 
          
         At 11:44 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
