         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 19,  
         2003, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Wilson, at 5:23 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wilson; McCall; Hilderbran; Keffer,  
                   Jim; Woolley (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Pitts; Luna; Paxton; Ritter (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 671 and SB 966 
          
         The chair laid out SB 671 and SB 966 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Woolley moved that SB 671, without amendments,  
         and SB 966, without amendments, be reported favorably to the  
         full house with the recommendation that they do pass and be  
         printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Wilson; McCall; Hilderbran;  
                             Keffer, Jim; Woolley (5).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Pitts; Luna; Paxton; Ritter  (4).  
          
         At 5:25 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
