         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 28, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called  
         to order by the chair, Representative Wilson, at 11:30 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wilson; McCall; Hilderbran; Paxton;  
                   Ritter; Woolley (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Keffer, Jim; Pitts; Luna (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         (Representative Keffer, Jim now present.) 
          
         At 12:05 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
