         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 3, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 9:28  
         a.m. 
          
         The committee met jointly with the Committee on Border and  
         International Affairs. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Krusee; Phillips (2). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Hamric; Edwards; Garza; Harper-Brown;  
                   Hill; Laney; Mercer (7). 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)  Original

         International Affairs Committee minutes. 
          
         At 2:46 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
