         Pursuant to a notice posted on January 30, 2004, and revised on  
         February 2, 2004, the House Committee on Transportation met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Krusee, at 9:12 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Hamric;  
                   Harper-Brown; Laney; Mercer (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Edwards; Garza; Hill (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 10:54 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
