         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2003,  
         the House Committee on State Health Care Expenditures, Select  
         met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Delisi, at 9:02 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Delisi; Gutierrez; Capelo; Crownover;  
                   Deshotel; Harper-Brown; Uresti (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Berman; Miller; Truitt; Wohlgemuth  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 3182 
          
         The chair laid out HB 3182 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Harper-Brown offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Harper-Brown moved that HB 3182, as substituted,  
         be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:

                             (7).
