Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10,
2003, the House Committee on State Cultural and Recreational
Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the
chair, Representative Hilderbran, at 1:09 a.m.

The chair laid out SB 155.
Representative Hilderbran offered a complete committee
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Geren moved that SB 155, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

Byron; Phillips (4).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).

The chair laid out SB 624.
Representative Hilderbran offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Geren moved that SB 624, as amended, be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following
