Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 2003, the House
Committee on State Cultural and Recreational Resources met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Hilderbran, at 2:02 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Kuempel (4).
Absent: Representatives Dukes; Bailey; Phillips (3).
A quorum was present.

measure.

measure.
Representative Kuempel moved that HB 294, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Hilderbran; Geren; Cook,
Byron; Kuempel; Phillips (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Dukes; Bailey (2).

At 3:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
