CORRECTED MINUTES
On April 1, 2003, the House Committee on Regulated Industries
authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the
House Committee on Regulated Industries held on March 25, 2003.
The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 20, 2003, the House
Committee on Regulated Industries met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative King, at 6:49
p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives King; Hunter; Baxter; Crabb; Guillen
(5).
Absent: Representatives Turner; Wolens (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair announced that no action would be taken on HB 1175.

The chair laid out HB 1942.
The chair recognized Representative West, George "Buddy" to
explain the measure.
Representative King offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

The chair laid out HB 802 as pending business.
Representative King offered a complete committee substitute.

reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
