         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 22, 2003, and revised on  
         August 11, 2003, the House Committee on Public School-S/C on  
         Benefits & Compensation met in a public hearing and was called  
         to order by the chair, Representative Delisi, at 9:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Delisi; Eissler; Heflin; Mowery (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dutton; Hilderbran (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Hilderbran now present.) 
          
         Invited Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 1:48 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
