         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 1, 2003, the House Committee  
         on Public School Finance, Select met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Grusendorf, at 8:36  
         p.m.

         Chairman Grusendorf lays out the Speaker's charges on public  
         school finance.
