Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21,
2003, and suspension of the five-day posting rule, the House
Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Ritter, at
12:30 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

(5).
Absent: Representatives Grusendorf; Martinez Fischer (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 977.
Representative Rose moved that SB 977, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

Pena; Rose (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Grusendorf; Martinez Fischer

The chair laid out SB 1442.
Representative Pena moved that SB 1442, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
