         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures, Subcommittee  
         on Occupational & Professional Licensing, met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Wise, at 1:35 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wise; Hamilton (2). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Eissler (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair swore in all witnesses. 
          
         HB 135 by Fred Brown  
          
         The chair laid out HB 135 and recognized Rep. Fred Brown to  
         explain. 
                                                            
         Representative Hamilton offered a complete committee substitute  
         and explained. 
          
         Testimony was taken on HB 135 and CSHB 135.  (See attached  
         witness list.) 
          
         There being no further witnesses, the chair recognized Rep. Fred  
         Brown to close. 
          
         The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection. 
          
         HB 135 was left pending without objection. 
          
         There being no further business, the chair moved that the  
         subcommittee stand adjourn.  There being no objection, the  
         Subcommittee on Occupational & Professional Licensing adjourned  
         at 2:05 p.m., subject to call by the chair.
