         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on September  
         16, 2003, the House Committee on Judicial Affairs met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Hartnett, at 11:00 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Corte (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Hughes; Rodriguez; Telford; Wilson

         The chair laid out HB 50. 
          
         Representative Solis moved that HB 50, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:

                             Solis; Alonzo; Corte (5).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 11:03 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
