CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 5, 2003, the House Committee on Defense Affairs and
State-Federal Relations authorized the correction of the minutes
for the meeting of the House Committee on Defense Affairs and
State-Federal Relations held on April 16, 2003. The following
are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 11, 2003, the House
Committee on Defense Affairs and State-Federal Relations met in
a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Corte, at 8:05 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Corte; Campbell; Berman; Merritt;
Seaman (5).
Absent: Representatives Delisi; Mabry; Moreno, Paul; Noriega
(4).
A quorum was present.
HB 3361
The chair laid out HB 3361 as pending business.
Representative Corte offered a complete committee substitute.
Representative Berman moved that HB 3361, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Corte; Campbell; Berman;
Merritt; Seaman (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Delisi; Mabry; Moreno, Paul;

The chair laid out SB 814, the companion to HB 564.
Representative Seaman moved that SB 814, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the

The bill was left pending without objection.
At 8:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the chair.
The recessed public hearing schedule to reconvene upon call of
the chair was cancelled as per an announcement on the House
floor on April 16, 2003.
