         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 25, 2003 and revised on  
         March 4, 2003, the House Committee on House Administration met  
         in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Hamric, at 11:20 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (11).

         The chair recognized Representative Gattis to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (Legislative only.  There will be no  
         witness list.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Gattis to close on the  
         measure.  
          
         Representative Giddings moved that HR332, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:
