         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 1, 2003, the House Committee  
         on Government Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to  
         order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 1:15 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Swinford; Gallego; Casteel; Cook,  
                   Robby (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Allen; Callegari; Smith, Todd (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
                                                                      
         At 1:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
