         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 14, 2003, the House Committee  
         on Government Reform met in a public hearing and was called to  
         order by the i lchair, Representative Swinford, at 4:14 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Swinford; Allen; Callegari; Casteel;  
                   Smith, Todd (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Gallego; Cook, Robby (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chair made remarks concerning committee legislation. 
          
         At 4:40 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
