         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Government Reform met in a joint public hearing  
         with the Senate Committee on Government Organization and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 1:10  
         p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Swinford; Gallego; Callegari; Casteel;  
                   Cook, Robby (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Allen; Smith, Todd (2). 
                                                                 
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Smith, Todd now present.) 
          
         At 2:56 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
