         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 3,  
         2003, the House Committee on Civil Practices met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Nixon, at 3:15 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Woolley (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Hartnett; Krusee (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair directed that the February 19, 2003, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Civil Practices be corrected. The corrected  
         minutes were authorized by the following record vote: 
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Nixon; Gattis; Capelo; King;  
                             Rose; Woolley (6).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Hartnett; Krusee   
                        (3).       
          
         At 3:20 p.m., on the motion of Representative Gattis and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the  
         chair.
