         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 23, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Crabb, at 11:38  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Crabb; King; Krusee; Morrison; Pitts;  
                   Raymond; Talton; Wilson (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Villarreal; Flores; Grusendorf; Isett;  
                   Luna; Marchant; McClendon (7). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Isett now present.) 
          
         At 1:40 p.m., on the motion of Representative Morrison and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call  
         of the chair.
