Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2003, then revised
on February 27, 2003, the House Committee on Business & Industry
met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Giddings, at 2:11 p.m.
Following adjournment of the previous committee meeting, the

Representative Oliveira moved that HB 276, without amendments,
be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
