         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 2003, revised  
         February 13, 2003 and February 14, 2003, the House Committee on  
         Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a public hearing  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at  
         8:05 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representative Crownover (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.
