         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2003, and revised  
         February 13, 2003, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on  
         Criminal Justice met in a public hearing and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Turner, at 8:06 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Stick (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 12:06 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned until 3:00 p.m. or upon final  
         adjournment/recess of the House, February 17, 2003.
