         Pursuant to a notice posted on June 21, 2004 and revised on June  
         25, 2004, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health &  
         Human Services met in a public hearing to discuss Interim Charge  
         #2, Budget Oversight, and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Davis, John, at 10:32 a.m.                                   
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Davis, John; Dukes; Hupp; Truitt (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Wohlgemuth (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 12:05 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., June 28, 2004. 
                    
         The committee reconvened at 1:44 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Davis, John. The roll was answered as  
         follows:
