         public hearing

         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 7, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Wohlgemuth, at 12:55 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Dukes; Truitt  
                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Hupp (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         At 12:56 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 3:00 p.m., March 7, 2003. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 3:05 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Wohlgemuth. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Dukes; Truitt  
                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Hupp (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee continued to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005.

         At 4:15 p.m., on the motion of acting chair Representative John  
         Davis and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 5:45  
         p.m., March 7, 2003. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 6:00 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Wohlgemuth. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Dukes; Truitt  
                   (4). 
  
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Hupp (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee continued to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005.
