         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 21, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Wohlgemuth, at 7:35 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Eiland; Hupp;  
                   Truitt (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Dukes (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         (Representative Dukes now present.) 
          
         At 10:05 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed for a 45 minute break. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 10:55 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Wohlgemuth. The roll was answered  
         as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Hupp; Truitt  
                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dukes; Eiland (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee continued to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005.

         (Representative Dukes now present.) 
          
         At 12:05 p.m., on the motion of acting Chair Hupp and without  
         objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:00 p.m., February  
         24, 2003. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:05 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Wohlgemuth. The roll was answered as  
  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Wohlgemuth; Davis, John; Dukes; Hupp;  
                   Truitt (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Eiland (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.
