         Upon final adjourn./recess

         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor for a formal  
         meeting upon final adjournment/recess posted for April 15, 2003,  
         the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Hope, at 1:21 a.m., April 16, 2003.   
          
         Because the House did not adjourn until after midnight, the  
         House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met on April  
         16, 2003.   
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hope; Brown, Betty; Jones, Elizabeth;  
                   Solis (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Raymond (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair directed that the April 13, 2003, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory be  
         corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without  
         objection. 
          
         At 1:22 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned.
