         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2003, and revised twice  
         on March 18, 2003, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on  
         Regulatory met in a formal meeting and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Hope, at 4:15 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hope; Brown, Betty; Jones, Elizabeth;  
                   Solis (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Raymond (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         (Representative Raymond now present.) 
          
         At 5:40 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned.
